Order packing verification checks that the products inside a parcel match the order. That usually means verifying the SKU, quantity, and variant, but some orders also need checks for accessories, inserts, labels, or visible product condition.
There is more than one way to do it. Barcode scans checks product codes. Weight checks can flag quantity differences. Images capture specific packing moments. Video shows the packing activity itself.

The important distinction is that order packing verification checks the physical parcel. A WMS or OMS can show that an order reached packed status. Verification checks whether the contents of the box actually match that order.
Barcode scanning is useful for order packing verification, but the scan only proves that a barcode was read. It does not show the complete packing activity.
For example, a correct SKU can be scanned and still be left on the table instead of going into the box. A scan also does not show the visible condition of an item, what happened after it was scanned, or whether another item was removed before the parcel was closed.

With CCTV, you may need to work out which station handled the order, when it was packed, which camera covered that area, and where in a long recording the pack appears. The video exists, but the order itself does not usually lead you straight to it.
