In most cases, electronics marketplaces do not run packing video verification as an official step. Sellers use it as their own internal proof layer, then use it when a dispute comes in.
If you sell electronics, packing video verification still helps, especially for high-value items:
- Use video mainly for phones, earbuds, GPUs, consoles, and other swap-prone items
- Show the serial number when the product has one (that’s what makes proof strong)
- Use it to respond faster in marketplace disputes instead of reopening warehouse work
- Pair it with operational records marketplaces already understand: order ID, weight, and timestamps
